About the Project

Designer Roberto Verino drew inspiration for his Spring/Summer 2018 collection from the work of artist César Manrique and the island of Lanzarote. Exceptionally, permission was granted to use some of Manrique’s original drawings titled *Fauna Atlántica* —courtesy of the César Manrique Foundation—which became the collection’s main print.
A fashion campaign was also shot on the island of Lanzarote.
The César Manrique Foundation was one of the main locations, marking the first time access was granted for this purpose.
