About the Project

Lanzarote and the work of César Manrique served as the inspiration for designer Roberto Verino’s Spring/Summer 2018 runway collection, presented as part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, in collaboration with designer Utku Dagistan. Original drawings from Manrique’s *Fauna Atlántica* —on loan from the César Manrique Foundation—served as the signature prints for the *Dream Island* collection.
